Burnside Park Tennis Club prides itself on being the most friendly club in Christchurch. New members are always welcome.
JUNIORS (18 years and under as at December 31st in the membership year) can apply to join online. The junior form includes junior membership PLUS interclub registration (if you want to be assessed to play for an interclub team).
SENIORS (19 years and over) can also apply to join online.
Subscriptions can be paid at the club by cash or EFTPOS; or via internet banking (using your last name and first initial as the reference)

All player members are able to rent a KeyCard giving access to the courts at all times. You can order one through the club. There is a small charge and the cards remain the property of the club so must be returned if membership ceases.
Members of the Club aged 19 years and over.
Senior Casual Member:
Members of the Club aged 19 years and over who only wish to use the courts privately. Such members cannot participate in the club organised playing times shown below. Casual members are not entitled to play Inter-club.
These members have the same rights as a "Senior Casual Member" but may also play Inter-club in a Sunday grade. This excludes Saturday mixed and Premier grades due to court availability.
New Senior Member:
Anyone who has not been a Senior Member previously is entitled to this subscription for one year only and has full playing rights as per the "Senior Member".
Full-time Tertiary Student Members:
Members who are full-time adult students. Full-time Tertiary Student Members have the same playing rights of Senior Members. A valid Student ID card is required to be eligible for this subscription.
Members aged 12 - 18 years inclusive.
Young Junior Members:
Members aged 11 years and under.
Retiring members or others who care to maintain ties with the Club, but who are not able to remain active players, can pay this subscription which will entitle then to attend Club functions and to receive Club communications.
Please note the courts are reserved at the times shown below. Casual members should arrange their games to avoid these times.
Saturdays: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Tuesdays: 9:30 am - 11:00 am
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (under lights, if required)
Thursdays: 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Saturday Mornings: until 12:30 pm
Other reserved times:
Mondays: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Reserved for Business House Tennis)
Thursdays: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Reserved for University of Canterbury Tennis Club)
Juniors have preferential use of courts from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm mid-week during the playing season.
Junior members with their parents (members or not) have rights to courts all day Sunday subject to court availability.
