We are saddened to learn of the death of Brian. The Faulls family are synonymous with tennis. Brian spent many years as resident coach for the then Fendalton Tennis Club and most of us have memories of Brian as he helped us all with our tennis. He certainly left his mark in a positive way.
The juniors whom he coached have vivid memories - he improved their skills immensely. Some of these juniors went on to become coaches of renown. Whilst he was at the Club he had the largest number of juniors in the Canterbury region. He was hugely involved in Canterbury Regional Tennis.
Brian worked tirelessly and the tournaments he organized were so beneficial to the Club. Those who worked with him knew the effort he put in paid off - he was totally unfazed by any problems presented to him and handled them with aplomb.
Brian will go down in the annals of this Club as someone who truly made a difference. Tennis needs more people with the dedication and tireless energy of Brian. Those who were fortunate enough to know him knew they had met someone who was very inspirational and talented.
